Ingredients for Candied Walnuts:
– 1/2 cup walnut halves
– 1/2 cup water, filtered
– 1/4 cane sugar
– 1 Tablespoon Honey
Ingredients, Sauce
Homemade Mayo Base
– 1 / 2 egg yolk
– 1 / 2 teaspoon dijon mustard
– 2 Tablespoons oil (neutral flavor)
additional sauce ingredients:
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice
– 1 / 2 teaspoon honey
– 1 / 2 teaspoon sweetened condensed milk
– 1 / 4 teaspoon white vinegar
– salt to taste (a pinch or two)
Shrimp
– A dozen large shrimp (about 3/4 lb.)
– corn starch
– 1 egg white
